Eurobike 2013

It’s that time of the year again when the industry show Eurobike takes to Friedrichshafen in Germany to preview the up and coming product releases. It happens every year so what’s different about it this year? I’m going! That’s what’s different this year!

Last week Anna asked if I would like to have a week out the office and head over to the picturesque town of Friedrichshafen to bask in the soaring temperatures demoing new bikes and products and looking at what the brands are releasing. I have to be honest with you it was a tough one, sit in the office with no windows tapping away at my computer for a week or head over to Germany looking at shiny new toys? So I’m sure you know by now what my answer was? Yip you got it I’m staying in the office for the week! Aye right!

As the excitement started to sink in I quickly came back down to earth as I released my passport was out of date! Cue mad dash to passport office to make use of their 1 day Premium service! So it’s all good, I now have my passport in hand and ready to embark on a road trip!

We leave Sunday afternoon and head down to the Eurostar then drive from France through Germany to base camp for the week which is Friedrichshafen.

Tuesday is the demo day where we’ll get the chance to demo the latest bikes, technology, clothing and energy foods, then the Wed, Thurs and Fri is the trade show days where we’ll find out more about latest releases from the major brands.
